Avoid!
Very bad service, 4 hours of delay so far. No information, chaos, Im very disappointed. Road closed and no signs how to get in there. Service in the main buildings was horrible, we were waiting 40 minutes to get a coffee in Costa Coffee. One person serving and one person making the drinks. Also overpriced! Last time Im using
it. I wouldn’t give them a one star!
Eurotunnel in Calais what a joke we…
Eurotunnel in Calais what a joke we were there on Monday night delayed by 3.30 hours sent to the forward holding area in the heat, no shelter, no water, no information.
The French couldn't organise a surrender party if they tried. When it was our turn to load there were four cars to many for the train, when we did get on the carriage behind ours was left empty, surely when there's delays they should get as many cars on the train as possible
1 STAR!
My family always take the Eurotunnel to see my family in Poland, every summer. The past two years the service here has been absolutely horrible. They tell you to get here early in order to board your train but then we’ve been waiting here for 3 hours I’m 28 degree weather! Not only this but letters that have been told to board and go to board then get turned back because apparently they’re too early, but they just told these letters on the board to go! This is terrible, last year when me and my family were leaving on the French side we got told it was our fault that there was bad service. I don’t recommend taking the Eurotunnel! They treat their customers horribly and no one deserves to get treated this way. If I were to take a ferry I would’ve already been at my destination.
What a terrible service this is.
What a terrible service this is.
Spent hours waiting to just get ticket then 3 hours for a train.
As a Hgv driver our working time is destroyed by this joke of a company.

Got through 3 hours early!
We arrived early and were given a slot over 3 hours later. We parked but then decided to drive to the picnic area. We joined the queue and, amazingly, were sent round to passports, we kept going and were directed onto a train despite showing a letter from 3 hours later! Nobody looked at the letter and we were home before we should have left France.
Great security, Eurotunnel;
Never travelling Eurotunnel again
Never travellng Eurotunnel again. They sell themselves on speed of crossing. We arrived in time for our crossing but waited nearly an hour to board. No apology. Nothing. Rubbish company.

Calais side - claiming tax back on purchases
Calais side: Tried to claim tax back on shopping, the office has been closed for two days over the weekend. No information or forms in the information centre regarding claiming tax back on shopping. I was told by the information desk that the team at border control will be able to help. French border control just push you to the British border! Absolutely useless! I will not be making any purchases in France anytime soon.
There are machines in the terminal but you need the initial form to proceed with a tax refund. Is it difficult to keep a stand with these forms and envelopes available?
If I could give zero stars I would.
If I could give zero stars I would. Organisation (what organisation?) is awful. We were told on arrival at Calais that an earlier train has been cancelled, so there were some delays. They then left 100s of cars parked on the loading lanes for hours on one of the hottest days of the year. No organisation of cars being called to board in turn. Just all turn up and the boarding marshals just waving their arms about noncomitally. Information boards variously showing different boarding times, ranging from 'boarding imminently' to 'boarding in 20' minutes. Neither of which happened! It resulted in cars jumping across lanes to board with other cars moving before them. Chaos. Utter chaos. Should be ashamed of themselves. We usually use the ferries; way better organised, way more information for customers.
The tunnel may be quicker once it's moving, but the incompetence is staggering and the organisation non existent. Don't bother. Take the ferry

Mediocre as usual
As usual, over-priced. Minor delays never explained and never any apology.
Very well organised
Apart from getting to Eurotunnel in the UK with roads closed etc. everything else went like clockwork, no delays. The best return journey we have had for years without any delays or queues. It all was very organised, and we actually were put on the earlier train although checked in for the next one. A very pleasant trip.
Don’t bother booking flexiplus for long…
Don’t bother booking flexiplus for long weekends coz the tickets aren’t flexible. 5 days before it’s not longer valid and then you have to buy a new ticket. So how they get away with calling it Flexiplus is beyond me.
It is in the small print… but why would you read it if it’s a Flexiplus ticket?

Excellent from start to finish
Excellent from start to finish! Put on earlier train, waited no more than 10 minutes in any queue. So impressed, will definitely use again. Best cross channel experience yet.
